Abstract

The issue of professional training of military specialists remains a relevant subject of scientific research. A pressing scientific and practical task is the systematic modernization of the professional preparation of officer cadres for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, taking into account current conditions of hybrid warfare and foreign experience.

In this study, we set out to theoretically substantiate a system of organizational and pedagogical measures aimed at improving the training of tactical-level officers in domestic military higher education institutions, with the goal of adapting them to the training and combat standards adopted by NATO member states.

Improving the professional training of tactical-level officers for the Armed Forces of Ukraine requires addressing a number of problems, which we have formulated and justified as organizational and pedagogical conditions for the development of professional competence among future officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This involves a suite of measures we designed to optimize the content, forms, and methods of the educational process, ensuring the effectiveness of the military education system in higher military educational institutions.

Within the framework of the study, we propose a conceptual approach to enhancing the national military education system, aimed at preparing highly competent tactical-level officer cadres in higher military educational institutions. The results of our analysis of academic sources confirm that optimizing the professional development of future officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine requires both scientific justification and practical implementation of a comprehensive set of organizational and pedagogical conditions within the military education system.

The substantiated organizational and pedagogical conditions include renewing the material and technical base of military educational institutions, employing simulation-modeling systems, modernizing educational methodologies, enhancing psychological support, and establishing a Quality Control Center for military education. These interrelated measures are designed to form a competent, well-prepared officer corps capable of confronting modern military challenges.
